We respond to privacy requests within one month at the latest.

What we collect

We only collect data you provide yourself or that arises from using the site.

• Contact form and chat: your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Chat conversation: the messages exchanged and the address of the page where the chat was opened.
• Site statistics: anonymised usage data such as page views and referring site.

What we use it for

We do not sell data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

• Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals.
• Generating chat responses and monitoring service quality.
• Improving the site and its content based on statistics.

Legal basis

Handling enquiries is based on our legitimate interest in replying to messages sent to us, and on steps taken prior to entering into a contract when you request a proposal.

Site statistics are collected on the basis of legitimate interest, in anonymised form.

Services we use

Data is processed in the following services as part of our normal operations.

• Google Workspace and Google Sheets — storing and handling enquiries.
• HubSpot — customer relationship management when an enquiry concerns a project.
• OpenAI — generating chat responses. Conversation content is sent to the service to produce a reply.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery of the site.
• Sanity — content management. Contains no visitor personal data.
• Matomo — site statistics with privacy-respecting settings.

Retention

We keep enquiries for as long as handling the matter requires, and at most two years from the most recent contact. Data leading to a client relationship is kept for the duration of that relationship and for the period required by accounting legislation.

Chat conversations persist for the duration of your browser session. A conversation sent with a contact request is retained as part of that request.

Cookies

The site uses only browser storage that is necessary for it to work, such as remembering your language choice and chat session. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track visitors across sites.

Your rights

Requests can be sent by email to studio@cusco.fi.

• The right to access the data stored about you.
• The right to have inaccurate data corrected.
• The right to request erasure of your data.
• The right to object to processing and to request its restriction.
• The right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or the tools we use change. The date at the top of the page shows the most recent update.
